Grace Ranch farms rice, crawfish and hay. Both rice and crawfish are iconic Louisiana crops. Our rice fields and crawfish ponds are rotated on an annual basis. This type of farming creates a balanced ecosystem, showing our commitment to sustainable and efficient land use. Our hayfields produce quality feed for our animals and often produce a surplus which we can then offer for sale to others.
Grace Ranch breeds, raises, and sells American Quarter Horses. The love of the horse is what started it all! We carefully select and breed horses to produce offspring that are healthy and strong, with desirable traits for ranch work and NCHA cutting events. Our breeding program is grounded in an acquired knowledge of equine genetics, with an awareness of the market trends. It is with much anticipation that we await the 2024 foal crop.
Grace Ranch specializes in offering quality cattle. Our cattle program has the Brahman female as its foundation. From there we choose Brahman, Angus, Hereford, and Charlais Bulls to cross with our Brahman females in order to produce registered Brahman & F1 Golden Certified cattle, as well as a quality commercial herd. It it our goal to produce cattle that have robust health, gentle temperament, and high productivity.
